Who is responsible

The controller for personal data processed through this website is Stephen Thomas-Daniels (TD English), contact details above. I process personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and, for visitors from the EU, the EU GDPR.

What I collect and why

This website has no contact form and sets no cookies. I only process personal data you choose to send me: when you email or message me on WhatsApp (your name, contact details and message), and when you book a session. I use this data solely to answer you, arrange and deliver your lessons, and handle payment. Legal basis: performing a contract or steps before one (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Bookings and payments

Bookings are made through TidyCal (tidycal.com) and paid sessions through Stripe. When you use these services, their own privacy policies apply. Both may process data outside the EU/UK under appropriate safeguards.

Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. When you visit, the host automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and time of access to deliver the site securely. Legal basis: legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Fonts and analytics

Fonts are served from this website itself, not from Google. If visitor statistics are enabled, they are cookie-free and anonymous (GoatCounter) and do not identify you.

How long I keep data

Only as long as needed for the purpose above, or as required by tax and accounting law.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, object to processing, or receive it in a portable format. Just email me. You may also complain to a data protection authority, for example the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or the authority in your EU country.
